Service and Proximity describes how close everyday community functions are to a property — school, healthcare facility, preschool and transit stop. Each indicator is measured as the distance from the property to the nearest facility of its kind.
The score is set based on distance — a shorter distance to a function gives a higher score.
This dimension is one of the parts of Social Factors and is shown in the property card under Risk & Environment.
Important: The factor level (low, medium or high) is produced by Kliva based on statistical data and averages, and should be seen as an indication — not a definitive truth about an area. The function is in beta, so both the data and the weighting may be adjusted.
