Kliva Dashboard

Pipeline

What can you do with Kliva Dashboard?

With Dashboard you can combine data from different sources in Kliva and build your own visualisations. Unlike a board or list, a dashboard isn't tied to a specific portfolio – you choose what data to include.

Getting Started

You'll find Dashboard in Pipeline, on the left under Boards (portfolios). Click into Kliva Dashboard and then + Create new dashboard to get started.

Give your dashboard a name and choose who should have access – Private, Team or Entire company.

Then choose whether you want to start from one of the preset dashboards – which you can still edit and build on – or create an empty dashboard and build it up entirely yourself.

All the dashboards you create are gathered under Kliva Dashboard in the left-hand menu, where you can easily find your way back to them.

Add a data layer

You add data layers in one of two ways. Either via the map widget, which is always included when you create a dashboard – there you choose among the categories Areas, Properties, Transactions and Construction projects. Or by choosing your own data in the widget you're building, where the choices are Area, Properties and Transactions (to use Construction projects, that data needs to be added via the map widget first).

If you choose, for example, the Properties category, you then choose whether to import by search, Pipeline, owner or tenant.

Add widget

Click Add widget to fill your dashboard with content. You can choose between ready-made widget templates, split into categories such as Transactional analysis, Market dynamics, Geographic analysis and Property and ownership analysis, or create a custom widget.

Among the custom widgets, you choose between an empty map that you customise with your own data layers, or a custom widget with full control over all settings.

Build a custom widget

If you choose a custom widget with full control, you first pick a widget type – for example map, pie chart or key figures – there are more types to explore on your own. The data layers you add then control what data the widget shows.

Customise and keep working on your dashboard

You can move, resize and customise widgets in several ways – the settings available differ a lot depending on the type of widget you're working with, so it's worth exploring.

  • Want to reuse a widget you've built? Go into the widget, click Widget at the top and then Save widget. Saved widgets are found in the Widget library on the left.

  • You can filter within the dashboard – the filters available depend on how the dashboard is built.

  • The dashboard can be exported onward, either as a report or in Excel format.
