What is Property Search?
Property Search is a unified search feature that covers every property. When you search in Property Search, you get results for properties, owners, tenants and transactions instantly – all in the same search box. You can also measure distances and areas, or create a virtual property, directly on the map.
Getting Started
Search for a company, an address or a property designation in the search box in the top left, or click around directly on the map to find a property. Property Search shows suggestions for properties, owners, tenants and transactions as you type.
A property gives you a quick overview of the basic information, with the option to open the property card for more detail. Search for an owner and you get a combined profile with key figures, the distribution of property types in the portfolio, a list of every property, and the option to open the group structure. For a tenant, you see in the same way where the company rents space. Transactions show the price, parties, date and source, along with which property or properties are involved – marked on the map – together with similar transactions in the area.
With Area Analysis you can easily see who the largest property owners and tenants are in an area, along with the most recent transactions there.
Tip:
Want to filter down a larger number of properties, work further with a selection, or export data? Use Advanced Search.
Want to explore completed deals in more detail? Use Transactions.
Customize the Map
Under Map Style you choose the map's base look. Under Map Settings you go further and adjust what is shown – for example by hiding property boundaries and labels, or visualizing traffic and public transport. With Travel Time you see travel times from a chosen point, and can visualize how far you can get within a set time on foot, by bike, car, or moped/motorcycle.
Travel Time, Public Transport and Traffic (Live) are Google's own map layers. Public Transport currently covers mainly subway and tram.
